SEEDS
1. In a whole group setting, discuss various food sources that people in the past might have. Examples would be: beans, corn, sunflowers, gourds, squash, hunting, and fishing.
2. Next give each student a small handful of corn kernels, sunflower seeds, and dry beans. The students will sort these by the kind that they are.
3. Next the students will graph this information. They must be able to explain their graph and it must match the data they have collected.
