1. My first impressions of Okonkwo were that he was very arrogant and disrespectful. He treats his father as though he does not exist. He thinks so highly of himself since he defeated Amalinze the Cat and because he holds two titles.
2. He has one good positive characteristic about him and that is that he can fight well and win many battles so that other people don't have to suffer. His negative characteristic is that with each battle, I believe it makes him think even more about himself and causes him to become more arrogant.
3. Everyone in the Ibo culture seems to be very nice and try to help everyone. They continually give Unoka loans when he hasn't even paid them back from the last ones. They also drink palm wine from the heads of their enemies that they have killed.
