Character Sketcher
Part One
“Fabrizio”
Character Traits
Fabrizio shows that he is very compassionate, especially toward his master, Mangus. Fabrizio loves Mangus and even after Mangus went to trial for wizardry, Fabrizio stayed with him after all the other servants left. Fabrizio felt love and compassion for the man that had been like a father to him. By staying, Fabrizio has shown how truly compassionate for Mangus he is.
After Mangus is summoned back to the castello, Fabrizio fears that he will be tried again and possible killed. Fabrizio, being only 12, suggest that Mangus escape. After Mangus pointed out that there were soldiers surrounding the house, Fabrizio begins to suggest that Mangus make himself disappear. This incident shows Fabrizio’s naivety because he believes that Mangus can escape despite the fact that they are surrounded, and despite the fact that Mangus cannot make himself disappear.
After the soldiers mock his master, Fabrizio was outraged that they would dare to do so. Fabrizio became very furious and decided to create some magic own his own by making a coin disappear and puzzling the soldiers so they become quiet. This shows incredible loyalty because Fabrizio could have been killed for doing magic, but he took the chance so that he could save his master from being mocked.
