Theme:
    The theme of these books is the prevailing of adolescent girls.  Sara Godfrey thought her summer was so boring, and it turned out to be the best summer, because she realized how thankful she is to have her family when she thought she'd lost her handicapped brother.  Anna Glory felt as if she were the only person in her family that was not talented.  She bonded with her estranged uncle, and together they became the family heroes.
