She is going through hormonal change and is frustrated with what her body is doing.  She feels like her pimples are huge and that is all people can see.

Even though she is a big sister, she understands what Ramona is going through because she goes through the same thing.  While older sisters are supposed to be mean, she sees how Ramona is affected by Mrs. Kemp and feels bad for her.

She does not mind babysitting for free as long as she does not have to go to the Kemps.  She is helping out the family by babysitting Ramona, even though her mother did not ask her to do this.  She knew her mother did not have time, so she volunteered to help.

Character Goal:

_Beezus_’s goal is to __stay at home instead of having to be babysat.  She wants to feel like a real teenager who has responsibility and doesn’t have to have a babysitter_.

Problem :

__Beezus_’s problem is __she will have to baby-sit Ramona and be responsible for her.  If they can not act mature enough, then they will have to go back to the Kemp’s.  She is also having problem with acne and is very sensitive to her face and jokes made about her_.

Solution or Possible Solution

_Ramona and Beezus will have to work together as a team to make sure they do not have to go back to the Kemp’s house.  They will need to not tattle-tale on each other to allow this to continue.
