MODIFICATIONS FOR DIVERSE LEARNERS

1. We are using many different reading levels.  This way the students are not at a frustration level when reading these books.  They are on their own reading level, concentrating on the jobs that are doing, and not on how to read.

2. We also have many pictures to help the visual learners and ESL.  This way we are reaching more than one learning style, and also helping those who do not speak English very well to understand the directions.

3.  By having this Literature Circle on the web, we are teaching the children technology use.  They are able to find information on the web, not only through the Internet Investigator, but also by having the Literature Circle on the web.
