1.  Some kids are winning the Dime Toss (when it is almost impossible to win), and others are not. Are there any clues in the story that might explain why this is happening? What
     are they?

When the young girl dropped her dime, it started spinning in the middle of the circle. It then stopped halfway out. When the older boytossed his dime it slid into the circle. This doesn't seem like luck. It seems like there might be something else behind this.

2. When Cam sees the girl riding away on the bicycle on page 21 she thinks this girl has stolen the bike. What causes Cam to think this?

Cam believes the girl has stolen the bike because it was not locked up. Also she thinks since the girl didn't answer when she yelled at herthat the girl is trying to get away on the stolen bike.

3. What game is Eric playing to try and win a prize for his sisters?

       A.  Ring Toss
       B.  Button Jar Guess
       C.  Dime Toss
       D.  Baseball Throw

4. Where and when does this story take place?

The story takes place during the middle of the day at the carnival at Cam's school.

5. Do you think there is anything special about the boy with the curly hair mentioned on page 5?

The teacher did not know who this boy was, and he was seen carrying a roll of tape. This might not seem unusal, but he is also metioned
on page 20 and page 27.
