Connector

Your job is to connect the story with your life.

1.   What did you notice in the story?

2.   How did the story make you feel?

3.   What does the story remind you of in your own life?

4.   Would you like your friend to read this book? Why or why not?

5.   What character in the story are you most like or unlike? Explain

6.   Does this part of the story remind you of any other story you have read or heard?

1.      I noticed that in the story the kids played and acted like I did when I was young. I noticed that the book has children who find the same things important as I used to.

2.      It made me feel sad because I don’t want Cody and Quinn to stop being friends.  They are so nice to each other and it makes me mad that their friendship could end over a little misunderstanding.

3.      It reminds me of the time when I was young and in school. We used to play tag on the playground and do fun things in class.  I used to have silly fight with my friends.

4.      Yes.  I think my friends would enjoy it because it is a good book.  If they are victims of bullies or a bully them maybe it will help them deal with it.

5.      I think I am the most unlike Royce because I have never been a bully.  I think that bullies should be taught a lesson.

6.      It reminds me of Owen Foote Frontiersman because in that story Owen has a fight with his best friend.
