Your job is to prepare a brief summary of today’s reading.  Make sure to include the beginning, middle and end of the reading.

Donald is greeted with a baby sister, Polly, and a new neighbor, Andrew.  Donald begins to play soccer and is not very good at soccer.  In fact, he is wide open to score a goal and misses by a huge distance.  Donald also begins second grade and his teacher does not like him.  After he ruins the teacher’s favorite eraser, she throws him out of class.  Donald is so excited because he gets to go with is dad to work one day (it is actually on the weekend).  He is able to write letters and deliver them around the neighborhood.  Donald is so excited!  He loves being a mailman.
