Summary

Jack and Annie go on a mission to ‘find something to follow’. There magic tree house takes them to the battlefield hospital. There, they are given a list of things to do at the hospital like being brave and being cheerful. Jack also brings along the book that got them into this situation in the first place, titled ‘Civil War’, and historical and factual passages throughout the book. They also meet Clara Barton and help her rescue soldiers from the battlefield. Many important facts about the Civil War are included throughout the reading, as well as Jack and Annie’s adventure. Kinds would really enjoy this one!
