Investigator: Your job is to investigate court systems and how someone goes to jail since Gawain is put on trial. You will follow these directions:

8.      What is an arraignment? (when the judge reads the charges against you, asks you if you understand, you enter your plea, go to trial if you plead “not guilty”, get a court appointed lawyer if needed.)

10.  What is a plea negotiation? (prosecutor tries to get you to admit to something less serious)

12.  What happens at a trial? (a jury of 12 people will listen to the prosecutor and your attorney, the prosecutor will try to prove you are guilty, your attorney will try to prove your innocence, and the jury makes a decision).
