Closure Activity
As a closure to this literature circle unit, the class will hold what is called a "Dahl Day." The students will make costumes to wear based on their favorite Dahl character. One recipe from Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipes that goes along with any of the four stories read will be made (students' vote) to be brought in. Some of Dahl's more interesting facts and ideas from his books will be talked about and celebrated. Each student can also pick a type of food item to bring in to join along in the festivities!!
