~ *This book is great! It is a journal about a young girl named Emma and her life growing up as a colonial girl. This is the book I am going to be reading all my students during this unit.

~ *This book is an excellent resource for revolutionary war material. It gives tons of facts on the different parts of the war such as the Boston Massacre, "lobster backs," the shot heard 'round the world, and much more. Wonderful resource to use.
