INVESTIGATOR

Your job is to research relevant and important information that deals with the book your are reading in Literature Circles.  Most of the time, the teacher will give you information to research along with certain questions for you to answer after you have researched the information.

Most of the time, there will be enough copies of the research for all of the members of your group to read.  So, you will have to decide how you share the information with your group.  Highlighters are probably a good idea so that you can decide the important information that the group needs to read.  Copies of the questions that the teacher gave you will also be available for members in your group to answer.  Please share any extra information of your own.  Also, if while reading the section of your book, you find something you think would be interesting to investigate, please share this with your teacher.  After all, you may have some great ideas your teacher has not thought of.
