FROG  FACTS

I am the Frog, as old as time                                        Sticky toes and quick reflexes

Sometimes dry                                                             help me hone my needed plexus.

Sometimes slime.

I am important, it was meant                                        It is my quick and predictable           

for me to predict the environment!                               coordination,

If  I’m not healthy                                                         that attracts the eyes of the nation

people rant, then they rave                                            to keep their focus on me.

The whole world watches and studies me                   The status of our gem

around the globe they shout GEE!                               tells of the condition of

What’s going on with me?                                           Earth's ecosystem.

My ancestors are Greek                                               If we’re not healthy

sometimes I’m even looked on as a geek.                   you lack wystem. (wisdom).

But an amphibian I am

I can live on water or on land. 

My body and my eyes vary

in shape, color and size.

I surely need to attract a prize,

if my species is to survive.

Hop on a frog to get a date,                                   

It’s a known fact I need a mate.

I am important, I am a Frog,

You hear my call, I’m on the wall.

      I’m big, I’m small

And you can recognize my species by it all.

I hop

I stop

I croak

I bloat

I swim

I skim

I can live on a moat

I can live near a boat.
