Model: Internet Investigator

1. Crabs, lobsters, and barnacles are all examples of crustaceans.

2. If phytoplankton disappeared from the ocean, the small fish would have nothing to eat. The number of small fish would decrease because they would die off. That would affect the number of larger fish since they depend on smaller fish for their food supply. Eventually, the number of large fish in the ocean would decrease as well.

3. There are 7 somites in the pereon of an isopod.

4. There are 95 families of isopods.

5. Isopods can be scavengers, burrowers, parasites, or predators.

6. Sow Bugs are isopods.

7. Sow Bugs usually live in dark moist places like under rocks or in basements.
