Snowhite and the
Seven Bullies Once Upon A Time, in the country
of Russia, there lived a young girl named Snowhite. Snowhite and her
family lived in Siberia, a territory in Russia that was all too often cold and
frigid out. Like most kids in Siberia, Snowhite grew up without a lot of
sun, and remained quite pasty.

her parents, and her little sister all sat down for dinner. “I am so sick
and tired of this cold weather. I can’t leave the house unless I’m wearing
five layers of clothes, and I’m still freezing my bottom off,” exclaimed
Snowhite’s father.

icebox. I don’t want to live next to the Arctic Ocean where it is always
freezing. If only we could live over in the states. California?
Hawaii? Somewhere, anywhere near the Pacific Ocean where it is nice and warm
out,” screeched Snowhite’s mom.

exactly what we will do. Kids, pack your bags, we’re moving to the
islands,” Snowhite’s dad shouted. And so they did. That next
day, Snowhite and her family packed their bags and belongings, and took the next
plane out of Russia. Retrieved on December 5, 2005

landed in Honolulu, Hawaii. As they exited the plane, they were greeted
with Hawaiians in grass skirts, and were given leas (beautiful necklaces of
flowers) to wear. It wasn’t too long, before they
found a beautiful house to move into. As the family walked along the
beach, and passed by all of the Hawaiian natives, they noticed quite a few pairs
of eyes set on them.

asked Snowhite’s little sister. “Don’t you see? We are
different. We don’t belong here. Everyone here has a beautiful,
golden tan, and we are pale. We are blinding them with our pasty white
skin. I hate it here already. I want to go back home,” cried
Snowhite. Embarrassed by the color of her
skin, Snowhite ran back to the house, and didn’t leave until that next Monday,
when she was forced by her parents to go to her first day of school at Coconut
Middle.
So, that morning, Snowhite walked
into her seventh grade homeroom, where she was greeted by her teacher, Mrs.
Waikiki. “Attention class,” announced Mrs. Waikiki. “We have a new
student, her name is Snowhite, and she comes all the way from Siberia in
Russia”. The class began to snicker. “Now, I want everyone to make
Snowhite feel right at home.” “Ha-ha Snowhite? More like
Albino,” whispered Kala. Kala, and her six friends, Linohau, Kuli,
Linekekei, Kali, Anakalia, and Akalei all began to laugh. Snowhite turned
bright red, and ran out of the room.
“That’s enough class. One
more comment like that, and you will be sent to the principal’s office.” A
young boy named Keoni raised his hand. “Yes Keoni?” “Mrs. Waikiki, can I go make sure
Snowhite is ok?” Mrs. Waikiki nodded, and Keoni got up and left the
room. Keoni found Snowhite sitting on the
playground, wiping the tears from her eyes. “Don’t listen to those seven
girls; they are just a bunch of bullies,” said Keoni. Snowhite wiped her face and looked up
to find Keoni holding out his hand. Snowhite grabbed his hand and asked,
“Who are you? What is your name?” “I’m your new friend, Keoni.
Come on, let’s go back to class, Mrs. Waikiki is waiting on us. She is
doing a geography lesson on where you are from, and we need your help.”
Snowhite rushed back to class with her new friend, feeling a lot better.

sharing with each other what their day consisted of. “How was your day
Snowhite?” said her mother. Trying to hide the grin on her face,
“Well I made a new friend named Keoni. Mrs. Waikiki, my geography teacher
talked about Russia too. A lot of the students asked me questions about
what it was like to live there and how it was different from here.”
“So do you like Honolulu a little
more?” Snowhite’s father asked curiously. “It is ok I guess. There are
these seven bullies at school that won’t stop picking on me because I have such
light skin,” Snowhite said as tears began to form in her bright blue eyes.
“Don’t listen to those girls.
You are beautiful just the way you are. We’re from another culture, and nothing
is wrong with that. Give it a few more days, and you will fit right in at
Coconut Middle School.” And so she did. After a week of
being at Coconut Middle, Keoni had introduced Snowhite to so many kids; she had
a hard time remembering all of their names. One day on the beach, Keoni was
teaching Snowhite how to surf when Kala and the other bullies walked up with
their surfboards. “Is this supposed to be a joke? Do you really expect a
girl from Russia to be able to surf?” asked Kala. Kala and the other
bullies giggled to themselves and walked away. “Don’t listen to them Snowhite, they
are just jealous,” Keoni said.

the next surfing competition, and I’m going to show those girls what it takes to
be a real surfer,” demanded Snowhite. And so she did. Every day,
Snowhite and Keoni were out in the ocean surfing from sun up to sun down.
Keoni was impressed by how fast Snowhite was picking up surfing, and he soon
believed that Snowhite did have a shot at winning the surfing contest that was
quickly approaching.

The day of the surfing competition
soon arrived. Everyone had gathered on the beach for the big event.
Snowhite’s family and classmates all came to see Snowhite for her big debut.
Snowhite was sitting on the beach watching the seven bullies, and the other
surfers practice when Keoni walked up with a surfboard in his arms.
“What’s that Keoni?” inquired Snowhite. “This was my very first surfboard,
The Big Kahuna, and I would like you to have it,” Keoni said proudly.
Snowhite jumped up off the sand and gave Keoni said a hug and a big wet one on
his cheek. Keoni blushed, and a giddy grin formed on his face. “Oh
gosh Snowhite, you didn’t have to do that, now get on out there and show me what
you’ve got” demanded Keoni.

than ever, began to paddle out into the ocean with the rest of the surfers. As
Snowhite was waiting for a big wave to come, Kala paddled past Snowhjite with
the six other bullies, and said “Hey Snowhite, try not to choke on too much
seaweed when the wave swallows you.” Snowhite ignored the girls laughter
and prepared herself for the big wave she was about to face.

she saw the perfect wave approaching. As the wave approached, Snowhite began to
paddle harder and faster. Right when the wave was beginning to curl,
Snowhite stood up on her board. The crowd went wild as Snowhite surfed
right through the wave from one end to the other, without falling. “Yes, I
did it!” shouted Snowhite as she threw her arms up in the air. As she
walked up on the beach, Snowhite was greeted with the first place trophy and
Keoni who gave her a big hug and kiss. “Wow, thank you so much Keoni, you
really are my prince charming!” Snowhite said happily.

two of them surfing together. Snowhite formed a nice, golden tan from
surfing so much, and the seven bullies from Coconut Elementary never picked on
her again. Today, if you take a trip out to Honolulu, Hawaii, you may just
see Snowhite and Keoni out surfing the waves. Retrieved on
