a man or woman.”
3) Character Trait:
Frightening (Page 140, Paragraph 4)
Explanation of Trait:
“Without a word the mountainous person grabbed Violet by the hair, and
with one swing of its arm lifted her up over its smelly shoulder the way
you might carry a backpack.”
Character Goal:
Count Olaf’s comrade’s
(the one who looks like neither a man nor a woman) goal is to help Count
Olaf seize the Baudelaire’s orphans so he can acquire the Baudelaire’s
fortune.
Problem: Count Olaf’s comrade’s problem is that the Baudelaire orphans are in better physical shape than he and they escaped from him. Another problem that he has is that no one can obtain the Baudelaire’s fortune except Violet and not even she can obtain it now, she has to wait until she is old enough.
Solution: A possible
solution is that Count Olaf’s comrade could seize the children and hurt
them later on and somehow convince Mr. Poe to put them under his care,
so that he can get their money.
