What key event happens today:  The key event happens on Lake Lachrymose after the children rescued Aunt Josephine.  First of all Aunt Josephine did not want to leave, she wanted to stay isolated inside the cave for the rest of her life.  When the children finally talked her into leaving she was scared the whole time and the children realized that Aunt Josephine cared more about her fears than she did the children. There were many events that took place on the way back to Domocles Dock.  The children and Aunto Josephine were attacked by the Lachrymose leaches and almost devoured.     Pages 164-182
