Discussion Director
Your job is to come up with 5 “thinking” questions from the reading. You will need to help your group go back to the book and find the answers if they do not know them. So, to help the members of your group, you need to write down the questions, answers, and the page numbers so that you can reference back and justify their responses to your answers. When developing your questions, keep in mind some of the lessons or morals that you think Julie has learned.

Passage Picker
Your job is to pick at least 3 passages from the assigned reading. You can pick from the following types of passages:

Write down the page and the paragraph number of the passage, the first and last two words of the passage, and the reason you chose this passage. Make sure you explain why! Then ask a question about your passage and give an answer. Lastly, answer what you believe this passage adds to the story.
Word Wizard
Your job is to read the sentence before and after the words listed below and make an educated guess about what you think the word means. After you have done this, you will then look up the word in the dictionary and compare what you guessed with what it really means.
