Section 2

This section is very interesting because we are introduced to an entire new world. Strangely, when Hannah opens the door to welcome in the prophet at her family’s Seder dinner, she is transported to a different life and becomes a different person altogether. Soon she meets two new characters, Gitl and Shmuel. These two people claim to be her aunt and uncle and call her by her Jewish name, Chaya.

Everyone in this new world are busy getting ready for Shmuel’s wedding the following morning. Soon, Hannah learns that the girl who everyone seems to think she is has recently become an orphan and has been sent to live with her aunt and uncle. As the wedding begins, Hannah meets many new girls, all who love to hear Hannah tells stories. This might be a strange new place, but Hannah seems to fit in quite well!
