Once upon a Time

A young girl felt as though she was running out of time

To find true love

That was sent from above

She was a girl who loved with all her heart

And one day felt her world tear apart

She went into her room

And closed the blinds

The only thing she needed was time

Time to hurt, heal, and hear

The sounds of love growing near

She finally began to realize

That life is one...great big surprise

As the days go on she knows that the day

Will come when she will be swept away

By a man she knows is honest and true

Someone who will love her through and through

By a person she will call her prince

The one who will make her heart skip

Life is sometimes full of happy endings

But mostly full of new beginnings
