The Assistant Director of the Multicultural Center, Anwar Cruder, will facilitate a discussion of the article listed above.  The discussion will focus on how culture influences our behavior and perspectives.  It will include suggested strategies for faculty to use in the classroom to help students develop an understanding of the impact of culture, the valuing of other cultures, and the development of a multicultural perspective.

Students and faculty in the RCOE are invited to attend this discussion session.  Please read the article in preparation for participation in the discussion. Copies of the article are available from Karen Laws, LES Department, Room 311 C.
