Revealing the Implications of No Child Left Behind Legislation for Schools

Presenter:  Kenneth D. Jenkins, Ph.D.
Executive Director, Principals' Executive Program

Monday, September 23, 2002
4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
 Reich College of Education
Edwin Duncan Hall Room 03

This session attempts to demystify the inner workings of No Child Left Behind, particularly the pieces that relate to (1) teacher quality, (2) professional development (including technology development), and (3) school accountability and the standards for meeting "Adequate Yearly Progress".  Dr. Jenkins will use live school data in the process, so there is clarity about the implications for local school districts.

To register for this session, please send an email to Linda O'Neal, Ed.D. at [email protected]

Parking is available at the new parking garage on River Street.  There is a fee charged for parking (would not exceed $5.00) so carpooling is encouraged.
