Look at ArtSafari web site: http://artsafari.moma.org/ and have the students look at the various animals and write about those animals in the site. Then have the students create their own animals and write about them in word processing documents. They can submit these to the ArtSafari web site. |
Spreadsheet:

Have the students come up with a list of 10 CDs from various genres and the prices of those CDs. E-mail students in various areas of the United States to find out the prices of those CDs in their areas. Put the information into a spreadsheet to compare and contrast price differences in the various regions, and create a graph to show the difference in the regions. |

Give each letter of the alphabet a value (example A=1, B=2, etc.). Come up with a list of terms that go along with what you are studying. Have the students use a spreadsheet to total up the value of the words. Have students create a list of questions that will allow for further calculations. An example would be: What is the value of rhythm x harmony? |
