Assessment
Formative Assessment: Throughout the unit, I will be asking comprehensive questions to check for understanding and evaluating their work on the jobs for improvement.
Summative Assessment: After reading the book, the students in the group will be participating in the closing activity, creating a newspaper reporting about that Lewis and Clark Expedition's return to the states. Each student will have one part of the paper to complete and will show that they understand the importance of the discoveries made by the Corps of Discovery.
