Beginning this fall in the Department of Leadership and Educational Studies we are pleased to welcome the following new faculty members:

Rob Sanders, Ed.D.

Dr. Sanders has worked in education for 13 years as a classroom teacher, media specialist, curriculum and technology consultant, and director of distance education.  He also served as the President and CEO of para instructional designs, an e-Learning company he founded to provide training, consultation, and design services for the development of online learning.  Dr. Sanders has taught instructional design and technology courses at both Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati, and is the past President and current Chairman of the Board for the Ohio Distance Learning Association.

Dr. Sanders holds a B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Indiana University, and M.L.I.S. degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Cincinnati.  He currently resides in Blowing Rock, NC with his wife, Amy and daughter, Caitlin.  Together, they enjoy reading, hiking, and antiquing.
