Theme: Thanksgiving

And Hard Work
 

Grade: 3

 

This unit is used to teach about Thanksgiving.  We will be using the novel Thanksgiving on Thursday by Mary Pope Osborne.  Students will learn the history of Thanksgiving and the hard work that the Pilgrims had to face.  The Little Red Hen helps build on the theme of hard work.
