This unit is an author study designed for 3rd grade students. It includes a launch activity with a second grade level book called Pete’s a Pizza. The other books are Doctor DeSoto (3rd grade level), Wizzil (3rd), Tiffky Doofky (3rd), Sylvester and the Magic Pebble (3rd), Solomon the Rusty Nail (3rd), Shrek (3rd), The Amazing Bone (3rd), and The Real Thief (4th). This unit should take about a week or longer to complete.
