Course Description: This course will explore the role of computers in educational settings.  The exploration will include the current status of educational computing, research on the use and trends of computers in learning environments, and current issues critical to educational settings.  Emphasis is placed on using the knowledge base to develop practical applications.  Students should already have an operational understanding of basic computer application software.  (If not, please inform the instructor).
